Suggest Treatment For Difficulty Swallowing Along With Cold
My husband has a problem swallowing food, the hospital say there is nothing they can do for him, Today he has got a piece of pork pie stuck and stood up to be sick, he woke up on the floor and the tv cabinet door was damaged where he had fallen on to it...must have been out cold for a while??
Hi. Thanks for your query. Do you mean to say that he is suffering from some incurable disease that the Hospital say nothing can be done for difficult in swallowing that your husband is suffering from. He can be put a stent. Consult a Gastroenterologist to get an upper GI Endoscopy done, find the problem, get biopsy and further treatment done.
The history of fall with injury is also to be examined by the Doctor for probable head-injury or so.
Also to be seen is whether the pork pie is still in the esophagus or in the stomach.
I hpe this helps you both.
