Suggest Treatment For Difficulty To Hear And Loud Ringing Sound In Ear

All day my left ear wasn t hearing properly and then suddenly this evening loud ringing started in it. If I cup my hand over it, no change but if I poke finger in, it s very loud. BP 139/76 but the noise isn t pulsating. A week ago I ended 7 day course of clindamycin and a few days ago I started taking Omega3, acidolphilus, CoQ10 and a multi-vitamin and I ve been taking metoprolol 100mg/day for 18 months. Could the clindamycin ago effect just of my ears a week later?

Blood pressure is not usually associaed with ringing in Ears. Clindamycin is not associated with ringing in ears.

You need to clarify some more details: your personal history and other medical contition if any. Ear problems in past.

Advise:

1. Get a physical consultation online on this plateform or offline of your choice
2. Audiometric tests
3. Imaging if required.
