Suggest Treatment For Difficulty Walking And Painful Lump On Shin Area

At work earlier at approximately 10:30 I was closing a little giant ladder and it came down quite hard into my shin. It immediately started bleeding and a lump appeared immediately. Its now 7:19pm and there s still a lump and its very painful to walk on and I can t touch it without grimacing. What should I do?

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of hit on the shin, a bleeding cut and still have a very painful lump.
I would advise you the following in such a situation.
Apply ice to reduce the lump and pain.
Take Ibuprofen or s for the pain.
Take an X-ray just to confirm.
Consult you Doctor, as the lump in spite of bleeding indicates that there is bleeding under the periosteum and may need aspiration or so.
Take antibiotic also as there is a wound near the bone.
