Suggest Treatment For Dilated Left Atrium With Congestive Heart Failure

hi my name is bill. I just came out of the hospital today. I was diagnosd with a dilate left atrium. I had shortness of breath, edema, and I want to know how can this be treated with a dilated left atrium. I have a cow valve in my heart, a pacemaker and about a month ago I had a patent foramen ovale repaired. I don t know what to do. I do have cirrhosis of the liver. The doctors told me that it isn t liver related. I was also told that I have CHF (congestive heart failure).

Hi,

Actually due to abnormal anatomy of your heart you landed into CHF. Now you must be on drugs. You don't have to worry, if you are taking drugs properly and following doctors advice. our treatment will continue life long. No permanent cure. What you can do is take excessive salt in tour diet.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
