General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The black discoloration is due to fungal infection and medications like candid derma are found to be beneficial. Also, please keep the toe dry.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Haleema Yezdani, General & Family Physician
