Suggest Treatment For Discolored Patch Of Skin On The Chin
hi this is sweta . i m 28 years old. from 3-4 days i noticed a slight discoloured patch on my chin. though it is not dry or scally even not itching, but i m worried about it it is not much recognisable as can be seen only when seen carefully but i m afraid what is that. pls answer and say what it could be and what should i do?
Hello. I have gone through your question and understand your concern. In my view, a patchy discoloration on chin area can be hyper pigmentation or age spot and is nothing to worry about. Asian skin pone to pigmentation, it is most likely due to sun exposure in this case. Use a sunscreen of SPF 15 to 30 daily 30 minutes before exposure to sun to prevent any further damage to skin. Local application of kojic acid cream (available over the counter at any pharmacy) at night time can correct the discoloration. Supplement your diet with carotene and antioxidant rich diet to ensure your skin remains healthy in long run. Hope your concern is answered. Thank you.
