Suggest Treatment For Discomfort And Irritation In Throat

About a year ago I accidentally swallowed a piece of string. I don t know how ling it was, but it stayed in my throat. Ever since then, it would be hard to swallow my saliva at times and I would have to sit up when I was laying down sometimes in order to do it. I always figured that it went away, but it s been a year and I can still feel like I have something in my throat. It sometimes irritates my throat. I m not sure on what I should do.

Hi, thanks for your query. string in throat can be easily seen on ct scan or X ray. Consult with the doctor and get evaluated properly. If seen in the report it has to be removed by a specialist only through endoscope. Hope my answers have helped you. Thanks.
