Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM,
Shortness of breath can be due to cardiac problems or respiratory problems.
After having consulted a cardiologist, I suggest you to consult a respiratory specialist.
There are various disorders which can lead to shortness of breath like allergy, obstructive diseases, restrictive diseases etc.
A clinical assessment, relevant investigations (especially pulmonary function tests) are required to diagnose the condition and to manage the problem.
Thus, consult a respiratory expert for further work up.

Thanks and take care
