Suggest Treatment For Discomfort Due To Prostrate Inflamation

Had pelvic pain and some aching in my testicles so i had an exame and was told my prostrate was small and smooth and my psa came back at 0.4. I was told i had ann infection put on two rounds of sipro then some edolac for inflamation still having some discomfort do i need a biopsy of my prostrate or some other testing?

Hi.
This is called Uro-genital infection . As all these structures are related by tubes to each other the infection spreads to all structures.
As you have mentioned that you were told the prostate was small and smooth (this is normal), the discomfort / aching in pelvis area can be due to cystitis (bladder).
GO for blood and urine tests including that of culture and sensitivity . This will help after a few days ( after you get report). You do not need biopsy of the prostate. You need to empty the prostate either by sex or masturbation to reduce the prostatic engorgement.
