Suggest Treatment For Dislocated Thumb

I dislocated my thumb three weeks ago, hand it popped back in place at the ER, but since the. Havent been anle to bend the PI joint. No real pain just soreness and no mobility. The joint pops a little when wiggled and have continued swelling in the morning.

The symptoms seem to be related to the injury.

I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen to relieve the pain and swelling.

I also suggest using cold compresses and maintain the area immobilized and elevated.
