Suggest Treatment For Dislocated Toe

i think i dislocated my toe last night. i stumbled and it felt like i was walking on a rock but it wasn't it was just my foot. its my fourth toe and its not dislocated ON the toe, but more below where the toe connects to the body of my foot. what do i do? i'm not in the position to tell my mother about it. am i able to pop it back into place?
