Suggest Treatment For Diverticulitis And Esophagitis

I was at dinner tonight and I started to choke. but didn t feel like anything was lodged. I almost passed out but then began breathing. this has happened to me at least a few times and it is getting scary. My father has diverticulitis and esophagitis (something where he esophagus closes) which is what this feels like. Is this hereditary? what should I do?

Hello

thank you for trusting HCM

Dear diverticulitis is common along with age and lifestyle changes. but few conditions like Ehler danlos syndrome, polycystic kidney disease, coffin lowry syndrome patients may prone to diverticulitis. so if this is in your family there is a chance to develop diverticulitis. esophagitis not a hereditary. I think I answered to your question if you have more questions feel free to ask.

take care
