General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

No, it is unfortunately not okay. It is not likely to cause any long term problems but lisinopril is a once-daily medication, it is not supposed to be used twice daily.

If your blood pressure is not controlled with only this medication, then you may need to be seen by your doctor so that another medication can be added.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Michelle Gibson James,
