Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
The treatment of dizziness and difficulty walking especially when just waking up depends on the cause.Possible causes may include:
-
Orthostatic hypotension or
postural hypotension. It happens when you stand up from sitting or lying down. Orthostatic hypotension can make you feel dizzy or lightheaded, and maybe even faint.
-Such symptoms may as well be caused by medical conditions like
hypoglycemia, anemia, metabolic, ionic and neurologic disorders.
Initial treatment to this condition is life style modification.I will advise you try the following:
*drink enough fluids, such as water
*drink little to no alcohol
*avoiding walking during hot weather
*elevating the head of your bed
*standing up slowly
*regular fitness exercises
If the symptoms persist after these measures, you see your Doctor for investigation.Test that will be need to identify the cause of your problem may include: Blood pressure monitoring, Blood tests(fasting blood sugar, full blood count, ESR..), ECG,
Echocardiogram, Stress test,
Valsalva maneuver.
Hope this will help
Best regards
