I have a friend who is a female ,age 57, and has been having dizziness, and some memory lose. She has been to her doctor, and has had a MRI of her head. She just got off the phone with me and says she has found a marblr size lump inside her mouth, next to her lower jaw. Could that be some kind of absess, and could that be her problem?

Hello, If the mentioned lesion inside mouth painful than it can be abscess like an infection. If it is not painful than it could be some form of a cyst. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
