Suggest Treatment For Dizziness And Swelling In The Fingers
My right hand (well thumb and first finger - the whole triangular area has been numb for at least 3 months now - never changing. And now my left pinky has been doing the same for about a week now. I have had dizziness at times, and random vomits in that time. My upper left arm is sore, ( for no reason ) I have only had kidney stones in the past. Mostly Healthy 37 yo female please help
Numbness is usually related to nerves that supply a particular area. The nerves that supply the hand would originate in the neck region and pass through the shoulder.
Imaging in these areas by X-ray would be the first step to find the cause.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Michelle Gibson James, General & Family Physician
