Suggest Treatment For Dizziness At Night Despite Taking Vertin

While sleeping when I change my position from left to right, I feel severe dizziness. Doctor has advised to take vertin 8 mg thrice a day for 10 days . I have been undergoing this problem past a month. Will I get rid of this after a course of 10 days as suggested ?

Hello,

Vertin medicine is used for Symptomatic management of dizziness. You are suffering from positional vertigo. It can be benign positional vertigo also. So, that should be ruled out. For that, epley maneuver useful.

Sometimes, inner ear infection like vestibulitis or Labyrinthitis also can lead vertigo for which short term course of prednisolone used. Consult otorhinolaryngologist for examination.
