Suggest Treatment For Dizziness

I have no health problems whatsoever but over the last few weeks have been experiencing dizziness, in bed and when out and about - but not continously. However, today I do feel more dizzy than normal and have noticed that my vision seems a bit spongy round the edges. Could this be a mild virus? Seem to be some unpleasant things goign round in the UK at the moment. I have no headache, nausea or aching limbs and no cold-like symptoms.
