Suggest Treatment For Dog Bite

My name is Isidro, a year and a half ago a dog bit me on my ankle. Currenlty I remain with a sore that will not heal. I have consulted two doctors on separate occassions but they are not sure why it has taken this long to heal or what to prescribe me. They took an X-ray and found anthing that would indicate an infection. What should I do next?

Hi,
From history it seems that there might be having chronic non healing wound giving rise this problem since long.
As x-ray is normal, possibility of osteomyelitis is ruled out.
In my opinion it might require proper dressing done by doctor only so that proper cleaning of slough and necrosis tissue can be done.
Gradually wound will be healed up by secondary healing.
In some case skin grafting might require.
Ok and take care.
