Suggest Treatment For Double Vision And Distortion

i got new glasses in January. The are no line trifocals. i was using reading glasses to read. Last week I went back to Lens Crafters and told them what was going on. The Dr. (whom I adore & seemed thorough) rechecked my eyes and had them make new lenses. After about 3 days I couldn t read the computer or close up. Things were distorted. Today I can barely see out of my glasses. Im having double vision, distortion and some times things are looking three dimensional. I can t see the computer or read without glasses. I can see far but not perfectly. Should I be going back to my eye Dr. or should I see my GP. I also have an infection in the muscle of my cheek.

it can be refractive error, cylindrical defect, dry eye related to computer vision syndrome, your problem need to be attended by eye doctor. for infection on muscle of cheek you can consult GP. start applying refresh eye tear drop three times daily and if using cotact lens then ensure removing it at bed time. after refraction the defect detected to be corected by taking proper specs. have to see if double vision is in one eye or both eye. muscular movment of both eye to be done and detected. cover test is to be done to detect phoria. if detected it should be corected by proper power. if computer use is the cause then should give break inbetween. change focus by looking out side through window.

you have to see whether double vision is f uniocular or binocular. go for refraction, specialy refractive error and astigmatism is to be ruled out.Near vision is to be checked. dry eye syndrome to be excluded. it is associated with computer vision syndrome. can apply refresh eye tear drop. for infection you can chek with gp. glaucoma to be excluded.
