Suggest Treatment For Double Vision

Hello. My name is Susan and I have been on Gabapentin for about 6 years. A little over a year ago, I started experiencing double vision. I was thought to have Thyroid problems but, the tests showed that my levels are ok. My eye doctor says it is 4th nerve palsy, but after reading the drug interactions on my prescription (which I hadn t noticed before) I noticed that double vision can be a side effect. Can this occur years after you start Gabapentin? Thank you
