Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Stress or hypertension or nasal pricking or clotting abnormalities or chemical irritation may cause this problem. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Apply pressure for 10 seconds. If no improvement please consult with your ENT specialist he will do nasal endoscopy and block the vessel or do nasal packing.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu, Internal Medicine Specialist
