Suggest Treatment For Drug Addiction

hello docter i am sheffi from chd one of my frnd wants to ignore taking drugs but he cant ..........if he trying to do so he feels so restless.......we tried in no. of rehab centers but no one answer us they just say wait for some time.........docter i cant see him like this plz tell me something

Although it is not mentioned what drug he is taking but I like to inform you that with right treatment most patients can be detoxificated without much problem. Most of the patients during this stage need extensive support and I think you can be one to offer him support.

The second important thing is motivation of the patient. If the patient is motivated enough the medications can help him to get rid of drugs.

Third thing I feel you get him admitted to a hospital psychiatric services are available. Most of these rehab centres are managed by laypersons and they have no knowledge in regard to drug detoxification.
