Suggest Treatment For Dry And Oily Skin

My skin is dry and oily at the same time. I break out all over, legs, stomach, back, arms, face, etc. I never had skin issues until about 5 years ago. I dont use oily washes only soap free, and cant use any treatments for it because it doesnt work.. at all. Lately I have had hard bumps all on my face and scalp that hurt. I havent changed anything but my skin is starting to hurt and from time to time my butt and legs feel sunburned when Im not in the sun

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,

I can understand your concern for mixed nature of your skin oily and dry. The condition is inherited...so do not worry. Many people have such diathesis. The oily area of you skin is likely to develop acne lesions, that occur on face, back and chest. You may apply clindamycine gel on these lesions and cleanse the area with antiseptic like cetaphil lotion. The skin of extremities may be dry. Apply moisturiser containing aloe vera and liq paraffin. Avoid soap contact on dry skin.

Hope this helps.
