Suggest Treatment For Dry Chapped Lips

I have had extremely dry chapped lips for about 2 months. Nothing helps. Vaseline works best but I ve tried Aquaphor, chapstick, blistex,etc. Could it be related to hormones? I had been ob birth control pills for 35 years off and on and went off permanently 6 months ago.

Hi.
As per your case history of dry lips, my treatment advice is -
1. Avoid applying any cosmetic like lip balms on it.
2. Apply a plain glycerine cream like Ensi-atm cream twice daily on it.
3. Take a folic acid plus b12 supplement once daily for 3 months.

If problem persists then consult a dermatologist.
