Hello,

Chest pain can be caused by simple and not dangerous conditions such as muscular pain or may indicate the presence of more serious diseases of the lung and heart.

Chest heaviness or feeling like someone had been sitting on your chest may be due to a heart problem such as a heart attack.

It is important to see your doctor and have a proper examination to rule out a heart attack (physical exam, ECG, heart ultrasound and possibly Troponin blood tests).

I hope this answers your query. I remain at your disposal in case further medical assistance is needed.

Regards,
