General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
I understand your concern
Dry cough could be due to allergic/viral bronchitis.
You can add following medicine and continue treatment provided by your doctor:
Take Cough syrup containing guaifenesin and dextromethorphan (Q tussin CF): 10 ml three times a day
-Drink plenty of lukewarm water
-Steam inhalation 3-4 times a day
-Strepsil throat lozenges (neem and honey flavor):take every 3 hourly
-Avoid cold beverages and exposure to pollutants
Hope this may help you

Contact further if follow up needed
