Suggest Treatment For Dry Cough, Pressure In Head And Headache

I HAVE A COUGH. STARTED YESTERDAY AND I AM BLOWING MY NOSE CLEAR IN COLOR BUT COUGH IS DRY AND UNLESS I SUCK ON COUGH DROP I HAVE TO COUGH. I HAVE A LITTLE HEAD PRESSURE AS IF A DULL HEADACHE. I TOOK A 12 HOUR COUGH SUPPRESANT BUT DOESN T SEEM TO BE WORKING.

Hi, dry irritating persistent cough with clear watery nasal discharge points to allergic rhinitis and bronchitis. Please use a mucolytic like mucinex and a bronchodilator along with steam. An anti allergic should only be used if the nasal allergy is severe. Head pressure of headache can be because eof allergy or persistent coughing and steam should help. In case the problem persists, see an ENT. Regards
