Suggest Treatment For Dry Cough While Having Asthma

I have been treated for Pplymyalgia Rheumatica and Temporal arteritis that started in 2011. I was treated for 3 years with Prednison and switched to MTX in 2014. Due to pulmonary infiltrates the MTX was discontinue. I am having more headaches recently at my left temple area and a sense of tenderness across my scalp. Recently I have been having mild nausea. I stopped my Protonix in Jan of 2016 and since then I have had lots of nighttime stomach discomfort, so I take a Protonix now and then. Today I have a strong pounding of my heart (rate was 100 and BP was 110/67 with home monitor) along with strong pulsation in my head, mild sweating, mild nausea which started about 6 hours ago. I m felling no pulsing in my head or pounding of my heart now but I have this headache and mild nausea. My doctor is in another state and I m not able to get an appointment with anyone sooner than November. Any suggestions of what it might be - is it something other than the PR and TA. Can I just safely wait to talk with my Rheumatologist tomorrow? Also I have asthma and have been coughing - a dry cough.
