Suggest Treatment For Dry Flaky Skin On Leg

My lower leg has very dry flaky skin. I have edema in my lower legs and feet. I also have MS. What is causing the flaking? My mother also had the same issue and she had congestive heart failure. I was recently in the ER due to an asthma attack and they checked my heart out really well. I do not have any cardiac issues.

Hello,

After reading your query I can make out that you have edema of legs due to which secondarily there is flaking and dryness of legs is present.

i suggest you to take care of the edema and swelling of the limbs as is the sole most important cause of dryness.

In my patients I suggest to apply a mixture of emollient and moisturizer humectant to relive the condition.

All the best.
