Suggest Treatment For Dry Non-productive Cough

I take quetiapine for bipolar psychotic depressive episodes.500 my for many years now. I have gerd treated w 40 mg omeprazole bid and ranitidine 150 mg bid, gaviscon as well. This as a result of many years of nsaids for osteoarthritis knees. I m having laryngeal symptoms. Frequent dry nonproductive cough, throat clearing, feeling of a lump when I swallow. I constantly feel urge to try to bring sputum up and it s either clear or opaque. I m frightened by these esophagolaryngeal symptoms.

Hello

This might be a case a costochondritis. Please run x-ray of the chest and run a good physical examination by pulmonologist.

Have more rest, and take paracetamol and magnesium for the pain. Increase fluids intake.
