Suggest Treatment For Dry Patches On Face, Thumb Twitching And Bad Circulation
Hi there, I recently have had thumb twitching, bad circulation, rough dry patches on my face, no energy, and heel pain (not a pulled muscle though). I was researching hypothyroidism and a lot of the symptoms that I have are the symptoms of that as well. I was wondering if you think that it could be this or maybe something else? I am a 31 year old female. I have two small boys and a stressful job.
Dry patches on the skin may be due to dermatitis or fungal infections. You can apply ointment clotrimazole on the affected area. You can take a course of oral anti fungals and vitamin E and B12 rich food or supplements. For twitchings and bad circulation, get clinically examined by a Neurologist to rule out peripheral neuropathy. Get blood, nerve conduction tests and biopsy along with imaging tests done. If diabetic keep your blood glucose levels under control. Avoid addictions if any.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
