Suggest Treatment For Dryness And Soreness In Skin In Inner Thighs

Hi, I am experiencing really bad chaffing, it started last week under my scrotum and now it s red raw really painful and cracked at the tops of my inner thighs, I tried lanacane but that seemed to make it worse, is it a infection of some sort, should I see a doctor or is there something else I can use?

Hi,

You seem to have intertrigo. You immediately consult dermatologist for firm diagnosis and perfect treatment. There may be candidal infection with bacterial infection. I would suggest as follow...

- antifungal tab like ketoconazole once a day
- antibiotic ..short course
- antihistaminics like levocetirizine once a day
- apply combined cream of antifungal, antibiotic and stetoid
- avoid soap bath
- take Sitz bath in dettol mixed water
- keep the area dry

I hope this would help you.

Thanks.
