Suggest Treatment For Dull Abdominal Pain And Diarrhoea

Am having a dull pain in abdominal region. Last week had intense diarrhea for several days, almost a week, with much more severe cramps and possible blood in stool. Was put on antibiotics but still feel a dull ache in abdominal region and ill periodically throughout the day..

Hello! Thanks for putting your query in HCM. I am a Gastroenterologist (DM). I will suggest you to visit a Gastroenterologist who will examine you and may advise for colonoscopy examination as infection would have been treated with antibiotics. Meanwhile take an antispasmodic agent like drotavarine for relief in pain.
