General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
I understand your concern
Cervical herniated disc cause compression of the nerve and cause pain in the neck, shoulder and arm
I would suggest to consult the orthopaedic surgeon and undergo MRI scan for better management.
Doctor will provide following advises:
Tab gabapin NT
Tablet methyl cobalamin
Wear soft cervical collar
Physiotherapy and immobilisation will helpful

But at present you can take over the counter available pain killer like
DAN -MR or ibuprofen containing drug three times a day after meal
Apply warm pad application, do not keep head in same position for long time.
Hope this may help you
