II , a wer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...I got hit in my ear with a bat and I have a lump rite by my ear and it hrts very bad.I put ear drops in my ear to help with the pain . The drops woulnt go all the way in my ear. It hurts alot
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns....
As per your complain it seems that the pain in ear is due to traumatic injury and lump is due to inflammation of the soft tissues.. As such a traumatic can also lead to damage to the ear drum, therefore I would suggest you to consult an ENT expert and get evaluated and he can do a thorough clinical as well as Otoscopic evaluation and treat you accordingly.. As of now you should take painkillers like Tramadol if there is severe pain or Motrin or Aleve in case if there is moderate pain.. You can do cool compresses over the bump.. Limit exposure to loud sounds and also limit water exposure..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora..
