Suggest Treatment For Ear Ache And Painful Mouth Opening
I put a relaxed in my hair last week. I think chemicals got in ear. My left ear canal is in pain and it affects my left side temple. Down to my left jaw. I can't open mouth all the way and it hurts to eat, brush teeth. I can't even stick my tongue out.
I can understand your problem. It seems that the problem is not in the ear as ear problems do not compromise mouth opening. It seems that the main problem is restricted mouth opening that causes referred pain in the ear and temple.
The restricted and painful mouth opening can be due to disorder of the Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) that lies near ear and helps in opening of jaws along with side to side movements or due to presence of infected or impacted lower third molar or wisdom tooth.
I would recommend that you visit a dentist or an oral and maxillofacial surgeon and go for clinical examination of the oral cavity for third molar and TMJ for any disorder associated with that such as inflammation of the joint cavity, subluxation etc. You may have to go through investigations like x-ray and CT Scan. Diagnosis and treatment can be based on the test results.
I hope this information helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. I wish you feel better soon.
