My son had wax in his ears; I flushed with warm water. Then, he happened to hit his ear, which caused extreme pain for about an hour. His ear began to drain and a very large (size of my pinkie), hard, black ball of wax worked its way out of his ear with the fluid. The pain went away, but the oozing in his ear has continued sporadically for two weeks. Will the drainage stop at some point?
Hi, From history it seems that he might be having impacted ear wax leading to infectionin external ear giving all these problems. He might require one course of antibiotic medicine for 5 days to clear the infection. Put antibiotic ear drops in the ear 3-4 times a days. Ok and take care.
