Suggest Treatment For Ear Infection Causing Ear Ache And Odoured Fluid Running

Hi, I have has an ear infection for two weeks. First stage, ear ache, second stage clear fluid running. Third stage blockage and now fishy smelling mucus which is thick and won't allow ear drops to penetrate. And my glands are swollen behind my ear which is causing a sensitive throat

I have gone through your query regarding ear ache followed by watery fluid to came out and now fullness, blockade and mucopus is oozing out.

Your clinical history reflects that you are suffering from acute otitis media secondary to eustachian tube dysfunction. Here I would like to suggest you not to put any drop in the ear and do these -

1- Keep ear clean and dry by a cotton swab.

2- Take anti inflammatory.

3- Take anti histaminic.

4- Steam inhalation.

5- Antibiotic.

I hope above treatment will help you otherwise consultation with ENT doctor will become necessary.
