Hi Dear , As per your query you have ear infection , cold and sore throat and you are on antibiotics along with other medicine . Well sore throat can occur due to bacterial as well as viral infection and there is other factor also that is acid reflux , which also give such symptoms . When upper respiratory track infection like sore throat left untreated or due to low immunity sometimes infection get transfer to ear throught Eustachian tube , which cause further complications . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist if not getting relief with present medicine for proper diagnosis like swab test and viral culture test . Doctor may order stronger antibiotics , antiviral ( acyclovir ) along with decongestant and expectorant . For noe do betadine and warm saline gargles and apply dry hot compresses to external ear .
