Suggest Treatment For Ear Infection During Pregnancy

Im 14 weeks pregnant and believe I have an ear infection that has persisted for a weel. After cleaning out my ear with hydrogen peroxide the pain is now worse. I don t have a PCP yet because I just moved to the area and no one takes my insurance. Is it worth taking a trip to the er because everyone will be closed for the next three days.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As of now, you can use ciplox ear drops.
If you have pain, analgesics like paracetamol can be taken.
If symptoms persist better to consult an ENT specialist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
