Suggest Treatment For Ear Infection

tri adcortyl cream ointment seems to be only treatment that worked for my inner ear infection. though I tell my doctor ive gone through a list of treatments little to no affect steroid creams antibiotics and drops. they all seem to no best but don't listen my ear weeps clear fluid itchy inflamed and dry flakey skin blocks ear causing deafness

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have ear infection which seems to be due to fungal infection, wax build up, fluid accumulation, Eustachian tube dysfunction and systemic disease infection. I would suggest you to do warm saline gargles , take steam twice a day and apply warm dry compresses to external ear . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper diagnosis. Doctor may examine by otoscopic means to check level of infection. Doctor may prescribe antibiotics amoxicillin at least for a week along with decongestants. Put Otogesic ear drops. You should go for audiometer testing as well to check hearing level.
