Suggest Treatment For Ear Pain

I gave my 5 year old a spoonful of Amoxicillin 2 hours ago as he was getting an ear infection. Can I give him acetominiphin as he is waking up saying his ear hurts still. He has had a cold. No fever . He had a previous ear infection a month ago which is why I still have the Amoxicillin. No previous history of ear infections.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello
Thanks for your question on HCM
I think you can give him pain relievers like Acetaminophen or Ibuprofen, it can help make your child feel better. But I would suggest you to take him to the pediatrician if he really has an ear infection.
Hope it helped!
Best Regards
