Suggest Treatment For Ear Pain

I've had earache for 4 weeks now after a holiday, had 3 lots of antibiotics. Been up to ENT and have slight loss of hearing in that ear too. They want to give me a nasendoscopy, what are they expecting to find/ illiminate by doing this? Also can this be done sedated? I don't think I can go through with this if not, I'm so scared. I'm panicky & get very claustrophobic

Hello,

Ear pain may be due to infection or, allergy or eustachian tube block. Avoid cool drinks and freeze water. Use water vapor inhalation and salt water gargling thrice a day for five days. Use tablet alday Rd twice a day for five days. If symptoms not improved, please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
