Hi Doc. My daughter 6 months old, she has eczema i have consulated with numerus pediatricians but satisfied with their treatment plans. plz advise me what is best remedy for this disease. what precaution should we take, what is best enviroment for her.
Your 6 month old daughter seems to have atopic dermatitis. You consult dermatologist for firm diagnosis and treatment. There may be genetic tendency. There may be some triggering factors responsible..like soap, woolen clothes, pollen, pollutants, cow milk..etc. Dryness might exacerbate the disease. Local application of tacrolimus or pimecrolimus might improve the disease. Mild steroid cream may be used. Antihistaminics like atarax may be given in pediaric dose. If needed steroid like methyle prednesolone in in proper dose may be added. After long time the disease would be controlled. There may be relapse also. So, take all precautions to prevent the relapse. I hope you got my answer.
Thanks.
