Suggest Treatment For Elbow Pain

i have a pain in the elbow and tricep area that wont go away... i think i have donme it a gym. its been 3 months now and still wont go away. seems to hurt the most when im holding my steering wheel? i got a scan and they say there is damage- should i get an mri?
