Suggest Treatment For Electric Shock Feeling Up The Spine With PDA

My 12 yr old daughter says it feels like an electric shock goes up her spine, tonight it was on left side. She has complained about this for several years. It is not constant or in intervals...comes and goes. She may go 6mos to a year without and then have 2-3 in a few days. No other effects. She has a PDA..patent ductis arteriosis but it was deemed small enough to not require correction. We are having that re-evaluated when she goes thru puberty. I don't think this is connected but what do i know? ANy thoughts?
