Increased ALT may indicate liver injury. It may be due to many reasons like hepatitis, alcohol intake, fatty liver, altered lipid profile, auto immune causes etc.
You may need few more investigations like routine hemogram, random blood sugar, lipid profile, ultrasound of abdomen. I suggest tablet ursodeoxycholic acid 300 mg twice daily to my patient for three months. It helps in regeneration of liver cells. It is good that you are not taking alcohol.
