Suggest Treatment For Elevated B6 And B12 Levels When Diagnosed With Ulcerative Colitis
Hello, My 62-year-old mother has elevated B6 and B12 levels, as indicated by her latest blood test. Currently experiencing various symptoms--weight loss, irritability, fatigue, sensitivity to most food, headaches, and body aches and pains, she has been struggling to find a doctor to help treat what may be causing these health issues. How should see proceed to find help? I should share too that she has ulcerative colitis.
Elevated b12 and b6 may not cause above symptoms so don't worry. Vit B and C is water soluble so drink water they may reduce by two days.
May be she feel depression due to ulcerative colitis. It may lead to nutritional deficiency and joint problems(extra intestinal manifestation). So better to take treatment for ulcerative colitis then it may relive the symptoms.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
