Suggest Treatment For Empty Sella Syndrome

Hi i was diagnosed with empty sella syndrome about 8 + years ago by my doctor at harlem hosp. in ny now my gyn doctor wants to give me lupron depot 7.5mg so my periods will go away for a while because of my anemia due to fibroids. Is this medication safe for a person like me. I would be grateful if a doctor could give me the best advice. Is there something better that i can take that wont effect my purtuitary?
